Its tougher for me than her.

OK so i needed to add a post. Now that i am living with the in-laws and back with the wife, dog and kid i have realized that this whole pregnancy thing is just as hard on me (if not worse) than it is for the wife. It took me only 3 or 4 days to figure this out. First, there are limits to how much torture a man can take, and the two causes of this torture.......SNORING and CLIMATE. The wife snores like a colony of lumberjacks trying to saw down an entire rainforest. O and it is not like a steady snore, it goes form high pitched squealing noises to deep roaring bear snores. THEN all of the sudden it will stop for 2 or 3 minutes, just long enough for me to see hope that i might be able to fall asleep before the war starts again. It is like torture, gets hopes up then tear them apart and repeat....all night. To add to the mix the bedroom can get quite warm at night. And since i like sleeping in an igloo it tends to keep me from falling into a deep sleep, which then allows to notice all the cute noises that the cooker next to me is making, and yes i am using the word cute loosely. Even the dog leaves the room at night. So anyhow, it is amazing that i am still functioning with this sleep deprivation therapy i am receiving. Just to add, about 5-10 times a night i will move one of Ashley's pillows so that the snoring will stop, it usually buys me about 3-5 minutes of quite time but every time i do it Ashley wakes up and ask "what" and every time, i tell her that she is snoring. At 5-10 times a night i am expecting her to realize that the answer to the question is always "you are snoring".

BTW after 4th of July when visiting family leaves, we are leaving one of the guest beds set up so i can escape the long hours of the night.

No worries, the snoring ceases after the birth of the baby. You will have your sweet, silent sleeping wife back in no time :-)

Well not so silent. I did snore a little before. But it was only A LITTLE.
I tried to tell him it would go away. If not, my new bedroom furniture is going to be AWESOME!

Get some of those strips for your nose. They really do work. Carey had some left over and I tried them and they worked for me not so much for Uncle Randy. See you Sunday.
