We found a house!
Ok, so we have liked this one for awhile. We have decided to put in an offer! This is the part of house buying that I hate. You put in an offer and then wait. Wait for unknown people to decide if your offer is good enough. Even though the home is a Short Sale, there is nothing to say that this process will not take the same amount of time that a regular sale would take. Since we are homeless, we are going to ask for a quick closing. There is no reason that we need the typical 30-45 days, and by the looks of this house there is no reason that they should not be able to move out quickly.
Our realtor is working up some numbers to give us an idea of what to offer. The house is at a great price for the size and neighborhood, so paying the asking price would not be so bad. But come on, who does not want to get a little bit better deal.
We like the neighborhood. There are trails, pools, basketball courts, tennis courts and the best thing of all side walks. I love the fact that this neighborhood has sidewalks. The neighborhood we used to live in did not have sidewalks and I hated walking there with the dog. This neighborhood just seems so nice and well maintained. I am looking forward to living there.
Keep your fingers crossed that the offer we put in is accepted.
