4 Weeks Old **Edited**

Well the baby is 4 weeks old, and it really doesn't feel like he has been here that long. The time seems to be flying by, and before I know it I will be back at work.

I am trying to enjoy this time, but it's hard when you have this little person that just wants to eat and sleep. I don't want to miss anything in these early weeks, because he changes so much from day to day. Some of my favorite things about him are that he loves to cuddle, when he looks at me he concentrates really hard like he is memorizing everything about me, and I love the way that when he is laying on my chest he likes to cuddle up until his head is under my chin. And Craig wants me to mention that he loves that the baby is a chick magnet. (I think it's because of the hair that all the women love Jackson.)

Not everything about him is sweet. When he wakes up and is hungry, wow, he is a holy terror. You better have the food ready, because he wants to eat NOW! There is no changing of diapers or wiping the sleep from his eyes. HE! WANTS! FOOD! NOW!

Then there is the thrush medicine. Wow, does he hate that. His hair turns white against the redness of his face. And man can he scream! I think I could live without the screaming. It doesn't bother me when I can get to him and try to comfort him. But when we are in the car and he screams, I feel like the most awful person because I can't take him out of his seat and snuggle him.

I am thankful he is here safe and healthy. And I am thankful that this little person is ours.
