Today was not totally awful. I think it could have been a lot worse. It took about 30 minutes for me to get out of the house, I walked around the kitchen, living room and dining room thinking of checking on Craig and Jackson one more time. I said my good byes once, and in a sane world I guess that was enough. I only texted Craig once during the day to see if he had checked on Jackson. I did not call the MIL to see how he was doing. I think all in all that was very good on my part.
Ok, I did cry on the drive into work. But I dried the tears before I got out of the car. And I did think of all the terrible things that could be going on at every minute of the day. I did however control my urges about calling every 10 minutes.
I did want to leave you with some chubby goodness that is Jackson. Look at those rolls!
