I would love to post pictures of my trip to SC, but our desktop is going through a repair session. As soon as it is back up and running I'll install Photoshop and then put up some photos as well as how I was a total slave driver when it came to touring. And come to think about it, I am probably not a fun person to tour places with. I have an agenda and I must get through it.

you guy do what you think is right with the car seat. both my kid road facing forward the hole time and look how they turn out. but for safety the car safety rating is what you look at that all i have to say. lol
Hunter has been forward facing since he was like 13 or 14 months? I will say that if you do decide to get him a new carseat, think far into the future. We are having to buy another one as Hunter has grown out of his already.
You know how I feel about daycare. I say go look at some and see how you feel about it. Trust your gut and go visit at random times. You will get a better feel of what the place is all about.

Just lit a fire under me to redo our car seats - we had been talking about it and your blog made us look at the subject again and actually change it back to the safest way - so thank you!! Excellent timing!! :) About seats - we love our Britax ones!! I agree with Brenna - think long term; he's going to be in it for several years!!
I agree too with trusting your gut about daycare & visiting at random times... Good advice from Aunt B :) If we only had one baby, we'd do daycare. With 3 it makes more sense financially to have a nanny. So many decisions to make as parents!! You guys will figure it all out & what works best for your family!!

I have already given you my salary requirements to be your live-in nanny. I really don't see what the problem is :)
My girlfriend has two of the Britax Marathon seats and swears by them. Both were in them facing backwards and now facing forwards. Oliver is almost 15 months and Anna is 4 yo so they are definitely SAFE and LONG TERM. That's what we're looking at for after we're done with our infant seat.
can we update the car seat drama with something else, i am thinking HAIR, oh no!
