Even the littliest things

So today was a good day, at least mentally. After a shot of terb last night to get control of some wayward contractions the OB gave Patient the news that she could go ahead and use the restroom (the actual restroom) and take a shower, of course this would all have to happen after the catheter was removed. When i showed up to the hospital this afternoon Patient was absolutely glowing, just so happy that she got to shower along with not having to use the bedpan for the more intimate business. I think she was glowing because of the shower also, it is kind of like an old car, when it sits there and collects dirt, and good wash makes it seem even cleaner than the last time you washed it. Of course it is not like Patient is an old car, i mean she isn't even 30, wink wink. Looks like we will see the specialist on Thursday, not sure what will come out of that. As i left the hospital Patients stupid uterus was contracting about every 4 minutes but was slowing down so hopefully all will be calm tonight. BTW i get hope from the hospital exhausted and type these post somewhat late (at least late for me, my bed time is like 8:30) so the grammer might not be the greatest, and the jokes might only be funny in my mind. I am also trying to post with a lighter side, no need to read this and get all sad and worried, leave that to me, i seem to worry enough for the all of us.
