For all those that would like to see the inside of the house, here are some photos:
Now, just a few thoughts ... we LOVE the brass lighting, we are totally keeping all of it. She says sarcastically. I think ALL the trim and molding needs to be painted white, someone else thinks that is going to be too much work. I am sure I will win, but have to do all the painting myself. I am not sure what room Jackson will have, I go back and forth on the idea of having him next to our room or not. Oh, and we are totally digging the fan blades in the family room fan. That will definitely stay. **wink wink**
We are going to pick out our paint this weekend, as well as the refrigerator. We will also start looking at lighting.

Will you pretty please save the brass fixtures and send them to us? wink, wink.
I LOVE the backyard. Buddy is totally going to dig that!!
I like having Hunter's room next to ours, b/c I can hear him when he wakes up. I know you can use monitors, but Ed and I find the noise on those bothersome and sometimes they pick up other peoples frequencies. One might think that is sort of fun, but not at 3am when you are exhausted and trying to sleep. Plus, when Jackson gets older, who says you can't swap rooms? Just something to think about :-)
Might I suggest Manhattan Mist as a possible paint color... (Behr paint from Home Depot)
Also with the baby monitors... I became OBSESSED with every little noise Hunter made as an infant. Ed would tease me and say that I kept a pocket mirror on me at all times just so I could check to make sure Hunter was still breathing while he slept. I really did not have the mirror, but I would freak if I heard a noise, any noise. Ed would make me turn the monitor off, b/c really, no one would sleep if it was on.
Do you freak out over every little noise Jackson makes while sleeping?
actually I like hearing him make noise because then I know he is alive :) but I think that will change when he has his own room. I don't think a baby monitor will bother me unless it picks up other peoples houses. I sleep with a fan and tv on. So noise at night is almost a must for me. But again he is sleeping in the same room as me at this point. I am sure this will all change in october when he is not near me any longer.
I think manhatten mist is on of the choices for our bedroom. We are thinking a warm tan/beige/coffee/sand for the entry halls and living room. (I know that's a lot of slashes!).
