I survived a 75 minute spin class on Wednesday night. Woo Hoo! Ok, so I didn't really go all out, but I was not going to die at the gym after not entering it since May. I felt great afterwards. It was so nice to be back and feeling that calm that I get after spinning. So I have decided that I am going to the base gym to spin during lunch. Hopefully I like the class and the bikes. If I don't like the bikes that would really suck, because I love to spin and I know I am not going to get to do it regularly for awhile unless I do it at work. Once Jackson gets a little bigger and older we are going to allow him to go to the child care area when we are at the gym. I think this will be good for a little socialization and being around other people than family. It will also help for the big transition to daycare next year.
After my wonderful spin class I came home and almost died. I was getting ready to fill the sink with hot sudsy water so I could wash bottles for the boy, he's gotta eat you know, and as I reached for the stopper sitting behind the sink was a toad. Yes, a toad. I jumped back with a little squeal, nothing like the scream from when I encountered the mouse in the garage. They keep telling me it was only a baby, but that thing was huge. It had big beady eyes that told me it was going to kill me. So, I calmly (frantically) ran to the landing where I proceeded to tell my father "You need to come here, RIGHT NOW!" Before I could get out "There is a frog int he kitchen" he had put his bills down and was rushing towards me. He goes to the kitchen were he says, "It's just a baby toad." Just a baby toad my foot. Again, the thing was huge. I stand in the living room as far away from the kitchen as possible and begin to hyper-ventilate. I had to wait for some time before I could return to the kitchen. And now I look around the entire sink to make sure there is no "toad".
After the "toad" my spinning calm was gone, and I had vivid dreams concerning "toads" jumping around the kitchen. Now really, who would know the difference between a "toad" and a frog?

Its okay about the toad thing. I am very much afraid of frogs, someone was mean to me once with a frog so I dont do well with them. I'm sorry that it scared you.
YAY for the spin class. Years ago one of my darling girls (Carey)left a toad in the bathroom sink for me. So what if it was rubber, totally freaked me out. (they even left the water on at a trickle to make sure it stayed wet) GROSS!!!
